There are lots of different word s for them and what they do – some prefer agents, others prefer representatives, still others call themselves auto transport experts – but whatever the name, your agent represents the brokerage that will help you ship your vehicle. This is important, because your representative is going to be your go-to person for the duration of your shipment. They’ll help you book your order, they’ll find a carrier for you and schedule pickup for you, keep you appraised of where the carrier is and what they’re doing – they’re the most important person for you, aside from maybe the carrier.
This is why it’s important to know your representative. And this means getting their name and their direct extension at the office and actually talking to them about your shipment.
