Euclid is a city located in Cuyahoga County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is currently home to a population of over 48,900 residents and sits in the northeastern region of Ohio, only a few miles east of Cleveland, one of the largest cities in the state. As such, Euclid is part of the inner ring of communities that surround Cleveland and sits within the Cleveland Metropolitan Statistical Area, one of the largest in the region. Founded in 1796, it is one of the oldest settlements in Ohio and was incorporated in 1903 as a village, then again in 1930 as a city. Today, it is considered a residential-heavy suburb of Cleveland.
