Plastics Help Automakers Meet Federal Demands
The American Chemistry Council has stated that new plastic components installed in more recent cars have helped automakers innovate new technologies to meet federal fuel efficiency and emissions standards, something that consumers are seeing as well, though they don’t know why. Stricter regulations have forced automakers to conform to tightening standards, and the ACC has noted that new developments in plastics could spark a new trend that will only help manufacturers make better cars – which means better cars for consumers to buy. Auto transporters have yet to see major innovations in plastics for their rigs, but newer auto transporter trucks are seeing some major changes in the way that they’re built. Pretty soon the auto transporters of yesterday will be just that – the auto transporters of yesterday.
