Brookville is a city located in Montgomery County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is currently home to a population of just under 5,300 residents, making it one of the smaller cities in the Dayton, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area. First settled as early as 1832, though saw little growth until the opening of the Wolf Creek Turnpike, which connected Brookville to Dayton proper. By 1855, a post office and general store had been established, and the community saw slow growth, mainly based on the turnpike and the railroad that ran through the area. In 1874, Brookville incorporated as a city, and today acts as a minor suburb of Dayton, which sits less than twenty miles southeast. This makes auto transport services to or from the area more affordable and faster as a result.

Auto Transport Tips to and from Brookville
As mentioned, Brookville sits within the Dayton, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area, the fourth-largest in the entire state of Ohio by population. As such, auto transport prices into and out of Brookville tend to mimic those into and out of Dayton. This is because car transport companies prefer to run routes into and out of major metropolitan areas that are anchored by major cities. While Dayton is not a major city, at least in terms of the most popular car shipping locations in the country, it nonetheless sees enough car transport traffic to not make the expenses outrageous or force you to move your pickup or delivery location hundreds of miles to save a bit of cash.
This is helped by the fact that Dayton sits just south of I-70, one of the major east-west interstates in the country. But what helps when shipping to or from Brookville is the fact that the city actually sits right along I-70, making it a popular alternative pickup or delivery location outside of Dayton. As we mentioned, car shippers like to run routes through major cities – but they also want to get into and out of those cities via the Interstate Highway System where possible. This is because the interstate highways make it so much faster and easier for everyone involved – with something as large as a car transport truck, there are many areas they physically cannot get into or out of, and the interstates provide them plenty of room to do what they need to do. They’re also faster, which helps keep your transit times lower, and they save the carrier fuel and time which helps save them – and, by extension, you – money.
