Tips for Shipping a Vehicle to Fullerton
Fullerton is the home of California State University – Fullerton, a rather large college in the area, which makes it a popular auto transport location during the fall when students are returning (or first going off to) college. Many auto transport companies will provide discounts for their services if you are shipping a vehicle to a college for a student, so when searching for a quote make sure to mention that you are a first-time or returning student to the University.
Fullerton does not lie on any major interstates or state highways, though it has access to I-5 and SR-57, which lie on the west and east sides of town, respectively. You can save yourself a bit of money by shipping to a location just off one of these major routes, more often than not, but it’s best to talk to your auto transport driver to see which specific route into Fullerton – or near Fullerton – that he is traveling along. It may end up saving you a bit of money.
You may also be able to save money by shipping to nearby Anaheim or Buena Park – these are located adjacent to Fullerton and are both popular auto transportation locations in the region. Orange County by itself is a popular shipping location, with many routes into and through the county, so we do recommend talking to your shipping representative about possibly finding a cheaper location to ship your vehicle to or from.
