Auto Shipping to Riverside
Riverside is a major shipping location in the state of California, and while it is not one of the largest cities in the state it is popular because both I-10 and I-15 pass through nearby Fontana (or Ontario, the border’s kind of fuzzy there), which is only a few miles northwest. It also helps that I-215, an auxiliary interstate, runs from the I-10/I-15 interchange (roughly) all the way into Riverside and services much of the area southeast of the city. This makes it easier for carriers to run routes that include transport to or from Riverside along said route, and because it’s so close to two of the most prominent interstates in eastern California makes it easier and cheaper for you to get your car to or from Riverside.
It also helps that, being in the Inland Empire, Riverside doesn’t see a lot of crappy winter weather that can deter drivers from running routes through the city. Unlike areas in the northern U.S. (like New England or states around the northern Great Lakes), transporting cars to or from Riverside is easier because snow and ice aren’t problems that far south. Riverside is in the middle of the American desert – you don’t see too much snow clogging up interstates or making bad drivers out of people in California. It also helps that it’s right by I-10, one of the most popular east-west routes in the southern U.S. Check out our Riverside, CA Auto Shipping page for more.
