AmericanAutoShipping.comAuto Transport To & From Delaware (DE)Some shippers may offer a discount if you mention you saw them on American Auto Shipping.com Hello. If you're looking for auto transport to Delaware, look no further than where you are right now. At this page, you'll find lots of neat stuff about the state and you'll see why auto transport to Delaware is actually a really good idea.Delaware was originally one of the thirteen colonies, and it is often known as the "First State," due to the fact that it was the first to ratify the Constitution of the United States. It was also the first state to ratify the lesser-known (now defunct) Articles of Confederation, which was the first legal document declaring that the states were actually political entities and unifying them under a central (albeit weak) government. In fact, Constitution Park features a four-foot cube which has the entire document etched into it. This is just one of the many great reasons to use an auto transport service to head over to Delaware. Delaware is bordered on the north by Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and south (and west) by Maryland. Also, it is the smallest state in terms of land after Rhode Island. What's interesting about Delaware's northern boundary is that the border is defined by a 12-mile arc that extends from the cupola of the New Castle courthouse and is actually referred to as the Twelve-Mile Circle. This is the only true-arc political boundary in the entire United States. It extends all the way to the New Jersey shore, which then continues down the shoreline until it reaches the twelve-mile arc to the south. After this, it continues to the middle of the main channel of the Delaware River Estuary. This then goes to Maryland, thus creating a wedge between Maryland and Delaware, but it was resolved in 1921. Another interesting fact about Delaware, should you be looking for auto transport there. The actual climate and weather of Delaware is classified as a humid subtropical climate...with a little continental climate thrown in. There's actually a significant variation in temperature and snowfall between the North and South, despite its small size. The south has somewhat milder weather, with a much longer growing season (if you're looking for auto transport to do some crop raising), and the overall climate actually supports a variety of different crops and vegetation. Also, there are a lot of trees, also supported by the vast climate differences. Another nice thing about Delaware, should you be interested in auto transport there, is the education system. It contained Belton v. Gebhart, which was one of the four cases combined into Brown v. Board of Education, which led the Supreme Court to desegregate all public school districts. Also, Belton was the only state court that ruled for the plaintiffs, thereby ruling that segregation of public schools was unconstitutional. Delaware is a great state with lots of stuff to do and see, and also a great place to live.
