When trying to figure out your automobile transport, it's tough to get everything ready in time. Read the Paperwork and Understand the Contract

When you first decide to use an automobile transport service, you need to know exactly what you're getting into. Make sure that you properly understand the contract you enter in with the automobile transport company and be sure to ask any questions. This isn't school, you won't be teased for the questions you ask. The most common mistake people make when using an automobile transport company is they don't ask questions, and this is when complications arise. Make sure you know at all times what is going on with your automobile and its transportation.

Know the Law

Most companies offer door-to-door service, which is usually what you want to do. If you have to use terminal-to-terminal, that's OK, but mostly the quotes you get from almost any automobile transport company will be for door-to-door service. Don't forget that you can't have anything in the cab of the car; it's against the law. If you want, you can put up to 100 pounds in the trunk, which most automobile transport companies will allow, but beyond that it's illegal.
